Mr. Kessler is known for building luxury, boutique properties in Florida and Georgia and has now expanded his portfolio to include Colorado.  This ski-in/ski-out resort, recently named One of the Top 20 Ski Resorts by Condé Nast Traveler, will be operated as a condo-hotel.

Using natural tones of gold with brown, black and red accents, the interior design highlights the natural beauty of the lodge to achieve an upscale relaxed atmosphere. Upon entering the lobby, the exterior walls feature copper panels which are also on the registration desk and framed around the fireplace.  The lobby features a color palette drawn from a dramatic red ceiling accented by deep brown wood beams, red suede drapery with grommets and slate flooring.  The custom made furniture includes a Juniper, hand carved table and lamps made by a local craftsman and is complimented by unique pottery and artwork by French artist Jean Claude Roy, which was hand selected by Kessler, who has been an avid art collector for over 35-years.

I am pleased to add another luxury property into the Vail Valley market," said Kessler. "Our mission is to create an exuberant guests by delivering the best in service, the finest amenities and cuisine.  The Beaver Creek Lodge is the ideal year-round destination in Colorado."

Each of the 72-guest suite accommodations offers a large living room with a TV, gas fireplace, air-conditioning, wireless Internet access, leather sofa sleeper with deluxe mattress, dining area and new kitchenette with custom cabinetry, granite countertops complete with mini-refrigerator, microwave oven and coffee maker.

All guest suites feature a décor comprised of oversized, studded, brown leather headboards, king or double queen pillow-top mattresses, down comforters, fur throws, suede pillows, a LCD flat screen TV, DVD/CD player, vanity with sink and an ottoman, unique artwork by French artist Jean Claude Roy and custom designed furniture.  Additional amenities include wireless Internet access, speakerphone, hairdryer, LOccitane bath amenities, upgraded bath towels, robes and slippers.  In addition, condominiums are for sale with a price tag starting at $400,000.  Two and three-bedroom condominiums are also available to rent.

The Beaver Creek Lodge features 5,000 square feet of meeting and event space, ideal for a corporate retreat, wedding or family reunion, a business center, a newly remodeled fitness center with state-of-the-art equipment,  an indoor/outdoor pool, hot tub, sauna and steam room, in-room spa services and a valet ski/golf locker room.
The lodge offers two dining options.  The new Blue Spruce Grill, headed by Executive Chef Tiffany Sawyer, will serve breakfast, lunch and dinner.  It features ice blue walls accented by brushed nickel wall sconces and lamps hand made by a Norwegian designer, custom furnishings and native American artwork.  The Colorado casual, eclectic menu will feature an array of dishes drawn from local ingredients along with a very extensive wine list.
