Thayer Interactive Group Announces Previous Appointment
of Michael Pusateri as EVP of Sales & Services

Hospitality Industry Veteran Heads Senior Staff Appointments

Washington, DC – Thayer Interactive Group, LLC, announced the completion of its major hiring initiative of senior hospitality and Internet executives, led by the appointment of hotel and Internet veteran Michael Pusateri to the newly created position of executive vice president of sales, services, and marketing. The new senior staff will increase Thayer Interactive Group’s focus on enterprise hotel clients, provide enhanced service and performance levels, and further the success of the company’s growing client base.

Before joining Thayer Interactive Group, Pusateri spent 10 years at Marriott International as vice president of interactive sales and marketing. Pusateri spearheaded the development of Marriott.com, after first serving as vice president of business travel sales. Additionally, Pusateri served as senior vice president of sales and marketing for Proxicom, a leading Internet-consulting firm, during its successful IPO and ultimate sale. Pusateri’s extensive career also includes serving as senior vice president of sales at Avendra; director of interbrand marketing for Holiday Corporation; and in hotel and airline marketing positions for Avis.

In addition to Pusateri, Thayer Interactive Group also announced the appointment of three other key executives, including: Paul Peddrick, vice president of strategic accounts and chief creative consultant, formerly director of web application strategy at Bixler Incorporated, where he oversaw client engagement and product development, and helped clients to increase ROI through use of web-based applications; Sue Heilbronner, vice president of strategic accounts, formerly executive director of business development at Discovery Communications, Inc., where she combined her background in law and business development to build over 100 partnerships with major national manufacturers, hospitality firms, media companies for the distribution of Discovery’s branded products and services; and Doug Broujos, vice president of client services, formerly the chief executive office of ChesapeakeNet, as well as senior vice president of marketing and e-commerce at 3Di Technologies, where he lead the company’s marketing strategy, managed acquisitions’ integration, and created national client-relationship teams. Thayer Interactive Group’s rapid ascent to a leadership position in hotel web presence management has also driven the addition of new client-service team members, creative staff, and web analysts, in order to service to Thayer Interactive Group’s increasing client base.
