 Seven Marriott Hotels in Florida
Remain Evacuated

Washington , DC  -  6 September 2004 - Marriott continues to monitor Hurricane Frances and is working closely with the authorities throughout Florida and other areas that may be affected by the storm. 

Mandatory evacuations have been lifted in Miami and Ft. Lauderdale and Marriott hotels in the area have resumed business operations and are accepting reservations.
A number of Marriott hotels and resorts in Florida remain evacuated.  These hotels will be temporarily closed until local authorities advise them they may reopen.  As of 3:00 p.m. (EST) Monday, September 6, the following hotels have been evacuated:

West Palm Beach / Boca Raton Area:
TownePlace Suites Boca Raton
SpringHill Suites Boca Raton
Marriott Delray Beach
Residence Inn Delray Beach
Hutchison Island Marriott Beach Resort and Marina
Courtyard Hutchinson Island Oceanside

Central Florida :
Courtyard Cocoa Beach
