 Hyatt International Appoints Six
to General Manager Posts

Chicago, IL, September 1, 2004 - Mr. Bernd Chorengel, president of Hyatt International Corporation, is pleased to announce the following executive appointments:

Robert Barker has been appointed general manager of Park Hyatt Tokyo.  Barker, a graduate of the Blackpool Hotel School in the U.K., consolidated his studies with management assignments with Hilton in Belgium, Venezuela, Malaysia, Philippines, Korea and the People's Republic of China.   He joined Hyatt International's Asia Pacific Divisional Office in February 1995, and after successfully completing his familiarisation programme, was appointed resident manager of Grand Hyatt Hong Kong in June 1995.  In July 1997, Barker was appointed general manager of Hyatt Regency Osaka, and in February 2001 to his most recent position of general manager of the Grand Hyatt Hong Kong.

Dejan Djordjevic has been appointed general manager of Hyatt Regency Almaty.  Djordjevic, a graduate of the University of Belgrade, joined Hyatt International in October 1989 as sales manager for Hyatt Regency Belgrade where he held management positions in marketing and sales, resulting in a promotion to director of marketing in February 1996.  In November 1999, he was promoted to executive assistant manager - Marketing for Hyatt Regency Almaty, and to his most recent position of resident manager for Ararat Park Hyatt Moscow in July2002.

Jean-Pierre Marcadier has been appointed general manager of Hyatt Regency Paris-Charles De Gaulle.   Marcadier gained extensive international management experience with Inter-Continental Hotels in Manila, Abu-Dhabi, Dubai, New York, Paris, Hong Kong and Toronto, before being appointed general manager of the Hotel Concorde Lafayette in Paris in January 1995.  He joined Hyatt International in March 1997 as general manager of Hyatt Regency Casablanca.  In January 2000, Marcadier was appointed general manager of Grand Hyatt Muscat, and in November 2001 returned to Morocco as general manager of Hyatt Regency Casablanca. 

Srdjan Milekovic is appointed general manager of Ararat Park Hyatt Moscow.  Milekovic, a graduate of the University of Philosophy in Belgrade, joined Hyatt International in August 1989 as director of human resources, where he was appointed director of rooms in March 1993.  Following further promotions to executive assistant manager - Rooms in Belgrade and Almaty, he was promoted to resident manager in April 1999 for the opening of Park Hyatt Baku, and in October 1999 to his most recent position of general manager of Hyatt Regency Almaty.

Michel Morauw has been appointed general manager of Park Hyatt Washington.  Morauw, a graduate of the Lausanne Hotel School, joined Hyatt Hotels Corporation in March 1984, as a Corporate Trainee at Hyatt Regency Washington.  Following food and beverage management assignments in Riyadh, Auckland and Casablanca, he joined the team of Hyatt Regency Birmingham in February 1990 as executive assistant manager - Food & Beverage.   In January 1992, Morauw was appointed project manager for Hyatt Regency Paris-Charles de Gaulle, where he was subsequently promoted to resident manager in September 1993.   He was appointed general manager of Hyatt Regency Paris-Madeleine in October 1996, and general manager of Hyatt Regency Paris-Charles de Gaulle in March 2001. 

Simeon Olle his been appointed general manager of Park Hyatt Seoul.  Olle joined the Rooms Team of Grand Hyatt Melbourne in September1986, and held various management positions in Melbourne and Coolum before being appointed director of rooms for Hyatt Regency Adelaide in February1995.  In March 1997, he was promoted to executive assistant manager -Rooms for Hyatt Regency Santiago, and held subsequent positions as resident manager for the Grand Hyatt Erawan Bangkok and the Grand Hyatt Beijing.

There are 212 Hyatt hotels and resorts around the world, which are managed by two separate groups of companies.  Subsidiaries of Hyatt International Corporation operate, manage or franchise 88 hotels and resorts in 38 countries, with an additional 24 hotels under development.  Hyatt Corporation, a separate company, and its subsidiaries operate, manage, franchise or lease 124 hotels and resorts in the United States, Canada and the Caribbean.
