announced today that John C. Boulware has joined the property as Director
of Operations. In this role, Boulware will oversee all hotel operation
functions, including the front desk, bell stand, concierge, valet parking
and house keeping departments.

Boulware has more than 15 years experience in the travel and hospitality
industry, with expertise ranging from management to accounting and operations.
Prior to joining Hotel Derek, Boulware served as hotel manager and controller
of Hotel Icon in downtown Houston. Previously, he was director of accounting
and administration for Vista Host Hotel Management Inc., a company responsible
for servicing several national hotel chains. Further, Boulware was controller
of Houston�s Omni Hotel in the Uptown-Galleria Area.
Boulware is active in the community and resides in the Houston midtown
area with his wife and two daughters.
