Peters will be responsible for the day-to-day operation of Pan Pacific Vancouver in addition to overseeing its marketing strategies.

Also Steve Halliday announced the appointment of Kevin Oake as Director of Sales, effective June 14, 2004.

Kevin is a hospitality veteran of 18 years, who joins Pan Pacific Vancouver following 11 years with Fairmont Hotels and Resorts, holding a variety of progressive sales and marketing positions in both Vancouver and Victoria.

"We're delighted to welcome Kevin to the Pan Pacific Vancouver," said Halliday. "His tremendous experience and expertise will be an invaluable addition to our sales team."

Pan Pacific Hotels and Resorts currently encompass 22 hotels (15 managed properties and seven marketing affiliates) in 11 countries throughout Asia, the Pacific and North America.
