On Better Business at Onity
The re-hire of former top executives who catapulted the companys growth in the late 1990s, combined with a new, streamlined Web Site, and new customer focused initiatives to come cap a successful 18-month brand repositioning.

ATLANTA MAY 25, 2004 Its definitely not business as usual at Onity. Its better business at Onity.

After successfully cultivating its new brand identity, corporate name and expanded mission for nearly 18 months, Onity (formerly TESA Entry Systems Inc.) emerges today stronger than ever as the industrys leading one-stop-shop for smart security and energy-management solutions. The re-appointment of Robert M. Aquilino as Onity president in February, and the recent re-hire of Adam Yapkowitz as director of marketing for North America, mark the final end of the old TESA Entry Systems.

Onitys repositioning has come full circle, and today we are pleased to announce that our comprehensive brand repositioning is complete, Aquilino said. We successfully transitioned our image as being an electronic-locks only provider under the TESA Entry Systems name to offering e-locks and related smartcard solutions, in-room safes, closed circuit television surveillance systems and Senercomm® energy management and mold solutions under Onity.

The company has come out of the gate lengths ahead of its competition in dedication to customer service and in the research and development of new intelligent facilities management solutions that makes dollars and sense for owners and operators. The key to Onitys continued and growing success, Aquilino said, lies among the allegiance of its executive management team to our customers and their needs.

One of the first new customer focused initiatives at Onity will be the introduction of a new, streamlined Web site designed to more easily put solutions in the hands of hoteliers. As Onity continues to flourish, the Web site will migrate from .biz to www.onity.com. The site will feature an easy-to-navigate format designed to deliver customer requested information and facilitate solution inquiries.  E-Commerce will follow shortly, making the service options for customers even greater.

Todays Onity is stronger than ever and working toward the common goal of providing better business to our audiences, Yapkowitz said. You swim away from a sinking ship, not towards it eager to reboard. Although some of us left TESA Entry Systems, Inc., it was just a temporary move. We all anxiously awaited the opportunity to reunite under Onity. For many of us, that meant walking away from high profile, senior executive positions. But we didnt hesitate. Returning to Onity was the right move, because we fully believe that Onity is the right solution for the industry.
