Opens New York City Sales Office Under Maria Galvis

NEW YORK, July 22, 2004 – InnPoints Worldwide, a diversified reservation processing organization, announced that it will now provide direct, end-to-end sales support for its members in the corporate, group and meetings markets. The new system, powered by the CARINO Collection’s SalesConnect2.0 software system, will be managed by Maria Galvis, the Company’s new regional sales manager based in New York City.

SalesConnect2.0™ is a web-accessible database of corporate, leisure and group account information. This on-line tool enables hotel sales departments to maximize their sales potential by gathering real-time, up-to-date contact and business profile information, including historical travel statistics, on existing and potential clients. Sales call reports and traces are integrated in real time thus creating the hotel industry’s first interactive, online data mining strategy tool. In addition, for those hotels that rely on corporate and consortia business, SalesConnect 2.0™ is linked to a variety of on-line RFP tools to facilitate the on-line submission of completed proposals.

Maria Galvis said, “I am pleased to launch the new sales effort on behalf of InnPoints members, via our New York office.” Galvis joined InnPoints from IndeCorp, where she was most recently in global sales. She also worked in sales for the Muse Hotel, based in Manhattan, and graduated from New York University’s School of Continuing Education with a B.S. in Hospitality Management.
