NEW YORK, July 21, 2004 – The CARINO Collection, the most innovative sales representation company for independent hotels, announced that the ten luxury properties comprising RockResorts have joined CARINO as members.
CARINO will provide RockResort hotels with comprehensive sales services including group sales, marketing to high-end travel agencies, and centralization of Rock Resorts’ consortia strategy and outreach. For CARINO, the announcement signifies an even more aggressive foray into the leisure-resort property market; it comes on the heels of a record-breaking year, 2003, in which CARINO doubled the size of its portfolio to close to 50 hotels, expanded membership to 35 cities and ten countries, grew its portfolio by more than 40% outside the United States and launched a private-label version of its acclaimed SalesConnect software.
