Singapore, June 2004 � Grand Copthorne Waterfront Hotel is pleased to announce the following promotion: Mr Clement Teo - Executive Assistant Manager

Clement Teo joined Grand Copthorne Waterfront Hotel in May 2002 as Assistant Director of Food and Beverage and was promoted to Director of Food and Beverage in September 2002. 

Having played a crucial role as the Director of Food and Beverage, Clement has demonstrated a combination of a hands-on, revenue-driven approach, solid leadership, teamsmanship and prudent financial management, which has resulted in excellent results.

Recently in August 2003, Clement was responsible for the complete operational set-up of the new 65,000 square feet Waterfront Conference Centre.

With over 17 years of experience in the service industry, Clement had held various management positions in The Westin Stamford & Westin Plaza, Batam View Beach Resort, Shangri La Rasa Sentosa Resort and Goodwood Park Hotel.

With his promotion to Executive Assistant Manager, Clement will continue to report to Mr Des Pugson, General Manager of Grand Copthorne Waterfront Hotel (and also Senior Vice President, Operations, Asia - Millennium & Copthorne International Limited) and be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Hotel, including rooms, food and beverage, minor operating departments and security.
