Kristie Pappas Appointed Sales Manager for the 171 room
North Maple Inn at Basking Ridge, New Jersey

BASKING RIDGE, NEW JERSEY, August 2004 - North Maple Inn at Basking Ridge, a Benchmark Hospitality International property, has appointed Kristie Pappas Sales Manager for the 171-guestroom hotel.  Michael J. Taylor, general manager for the property, made the announcement.

Ms. Pappas comes to North Maple Inn from Hamilton Park, a hotel and conference center located in Florham Park, New Jersey, where she was global sales manager.  While at Hamilton Park, Pappas was responsible for successfully developing business from the pharmaceutical, medical and manufacturing markets, exceeding sales goals during several business quarters.  Pappas was so successful that she was awarded "Financial Manager of the Quarter" in 2003.

Previous to this, Kristie Pappas was corporate sales manager for Doubletree Hotel & Executive Meeting Center, located in Somerset, New Jersey, where she was also responsible for developing new business.  While at Doubletree she was awarded the Seal of Excellence at the Hilton Sales College.

Pappas was previously employed by Dwyer Hotels & Resorts of Ocean City, New Jersey, and before this at the Somerset Marriott of Somerset, New Jersey.  She is the recipient of numerous awards and honors from Marriott.

Kristie Pappas is a graduate of Montclair State University of Upper Montclair, New Jersey, where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Recreation, Leisure and Service Management.  She resides in Scotch Plains, New Jersey.
