Technology is playing an increasingly important role in the Hotel Industry.  Often it is difficult just to keep up with developments today much less think of what may be happening tomorrow.  This conference is designed to provide essential insights into the emerging trends that will shape the hotel industry of tomorrow.

The underpinning basis of the conference is that embedded intelligence will necessitate different leadership and competencies to create success in the hotel business of the future. Join us as we share our experience.

Speakers

Constance Adams | Creative Director from Synthesis design and research. A "Space Architect" specialist in kinetics and design and relational aspects. Constance will identify innovations from other industries applicable to hotels of the future.  Clients have included NASA, Sun Microsystems laboratories and Silicon Graphics. 

James Wade | CEO of Wade and Co, a marketing, advertising and communication spectrum company based in Lausanne, Switzerland and Austin, Texas. James has occupied a number of executive positions for Swiss Pharmaceutical and banking companies, and the World Economic Forum at Davos. James will describe the hotel guest of the future.

Chris Luebkeman with Jim Quiter, Cole Roberts and Kevin Conway Director of Foresight and Innovation at Arup. Arup's Hotels & Leisure group provides dedicated design teams capable of working on a global basis, designing hotel and leisure facilities to the exacting international standards expected by the industry.  Arup's experience enables their teams to design and deliver full engineering solutions on projects and services.

Dr. Bill Reckmeyer | Professor of leadership & systems at San José State University and senior fellow in the James McGregor Burns Academy at the University of Maryland.  Amongst other prestigious positions, Bill was a founding member of the Harvard Institute for school leadership, and will discuss leadership and management approaches for the hotel workforce of the future.
