at Hotel Sari Pan Pacific, Jakarta, Indonesia |
August 13, 2004 - Hotel Sari Pan Pacific Jakarta
recently named Christo Diamandopoulos as the General Manager replacing
E.J Mac Ewan III who has been relocated to Pan Pacific Kuala Lumpur. Christo
was most recently the General Manager of Pan Pacific Kuala Lumpur for six
years and held similar position in Pan Pacific Resort Pangkor Island (currently
known as Pangkor Island Beach Resort).
With 30 years experience in the hospitality industry, Christo obtained a Diploma in Hotel Management from the Regency College in South Australia and studied Microbiology and Psychology at Flinders University, South Australia. Through dedication and commitment, he soon rose to be General Manager of the Kooralbyn Hotel Resort in Queensland. His 11-year tenure with this property, as well as stints in hotel properties in Australia and Japan, well equips him to manage resorts and hotels of any magnitude. Christo is an Australian national of Greek origin, he understands the
delicate nature of multi-racial and multi religious society, thanks to
his 10-year sojourn in Malaysia. Christo very much believes in the philosophy
of management through empowerment.
