Accor Asia Appoints Four to GM Posts

BANGKOK, 11 August 2004 � Accor Asia Pacific is pleased to announce the following appointments. 

Dominique Duvivier is the new General Manager of Hotel Ibis Kemayoran Jakarta. Dominique has a long history with Accor dating back to 1990 when he joined the Mercure Sophia hotel in France. After moving to Asia in 1997, Dominique worked at Accor hotels in Indonesia, Thailand and Vietnam. He was most recently Operations Co-ordinator at Novotel Bangkok on Siam Square. 

Michel Farines has been appointed General Manager of Hotel Ibis Slipi.  Michel moved there from his last position as General Manager of Hotel Ibis Kemayoran Jakarta. He joined Accor in 1997 at Mercure Crystal Parc and worked in France for five years prior to relocating to Asia in 2002. 

Fumio Kanto has been named General Manager of the Yokohama Novotel Japan.  Fumio has over 20 years experience in the hospitality industry and joins Accor from the Kitano Hotel New York, where he has been based since 2001.  

Rudy Rodas is the new General Manager of Novotel Oasis Beijing in China.  Rodolfo joined Accor in 2000 at the Sofitel Raja Orchid Khon Kaen Thailand and later relocated to Australia in 2001 as EAM of Sofitel Reef Casino in Cairns. For the past year, Rodolfo was Resident Manager of Novotel Apollo Singapore.
