ATLANTA, Ga., May 6, 2004 � Officials of Noble Investment Group, one

branded hotels, today announced that it has named Thomas J. DeSousa general
manager of the 290-room Crowne Plaza Atlanta-Buckhead in Georgia.
�As we continue to expand our company�s portfolio, we are committed to adding greater depth and expertise to our team,� said Mitesh Shah, Noble Investment president and chief operating officer. �Tom has a strong track record and a wealth of experience in upscale hotels.� �Tom is an outstanding hospitality professional and an ideal addition to the hotel and the Noble organization,� said Steve Porter, president, the Americas, InterContinental Hotels Group. �Having worked with him for several years, I am confident that he will continue to establish the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Buckhead as a market leader.� Prior to accepting his new position, DeSousa was general manager of the Piscataway Embassy Suites in New Jersey operated by Hilton Hotels Corporation. In his nearly two decades of hospitality experience, he has held a variety of property-level positions, including assistant general manager of the Secaucus Embassy Suites in N.J. and the Westwood, an independent hotel in Garwood, N.J. He graduated cum laude with a bachelors of science degree in hospitality management from East Stroudsburg University. The Crowne Plaza Hotel is prominently located in the Buckhead area of Atlanta, adjacent to the Atlanta Financial Center on Peachtree Road.
