ATLANTA, Georgia, May 18, 2004 - Thompson Calhoun Fair, LLC, an Atlanta-based
hotel real estate firm, announced today it advised an undisclosed public
company in the disposition of the Holiday Inn South Bend ~ University Area.
The 229-room property is located on Dixieway North at Interstate 80/90,
approximately three miles north of downtown South Bend. The hotel is the
closest full-service hotel to the University of Notre Dame campus. The
property consists of three, two-story rooms
buildings comprising the guest rooms
with an attached one-story commercial building and an associated Holidome
recreational facility. Amenities include an indoor swimming pool with deck
and adjacent spa, sauna and a fitness center. The property also features
a full-service restaurant and lounge, an outdoor swimming pool, guest laundry
facilities and approximately 6,728 square feet of meeting space. The property
was built in phases beginning in 1962 and is located on approximately 6.4
acres. The property was sold to US Hotel Partners, Inc. for an undisclosed
amount. |
