Resort Data Processing, Inc. (RDP), Announces Two-hundredth Installation of the Internet Reservation Module

 
May 5, 2004 - Resort Data Processing's Internet Reservation Module (IRM) allows millions of potential guests, groups, condominium owners and travel agents to check availability and make reservations 24 hours a day, 365 days a year via the Internet. IRM reservations are stored immediately in the same database as normal "phone-in" reservations. One database provides true "last room" availability.  IRM reservations are commission free.

An RDP customer who bought the core reservations system over the last 20 years now has the ability to allow their guest’s to make reservations 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, with no human interaction.  The two hundredth installation of the IRM marks a significant milestone in the history of Resort Data Processing, Inc.  Hotels and Resorts are now finding that an integrated Internet Reservations Module to is required to stay competitive.  Properties cannot survive without a direct booking module, which allows for commission-free reservations, directly into the reservations software.
 
“We are amazed by the reports we are getting from our customers.  We recently installed the IRM at a customer’s site, and they had 60 additional bookings in one week”, adds Bob Kippola,  “We also, we have a multiple language feature, which allows our customers to translate the system into any language of their choice.  Hotels in the western US and Hawaii are translating the system into Japanese, customer’s in Central America have translated the system into Spanish, and customer’s in Canada have added a link for reservations in French.”
