 Mark Lefever Named Chief Financial Officer
of Resorts International Hotel, Inc.

ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. - May 26, 2004 -- Resorts International Hotel, Inc. today announced the appointment of Mark Lefever as Senior Vice President of Finance and Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Lefever replaces Joseph Weis who is assuming the position of Senior Vice President/Chief Information Officer for the company.

"We are very pleased to have Mark join the Resorts' team. His financial background coupled with his extensive experience in the gaming industry complements our existing management team," said Audrey Oswell, President and Chief Executive Officer.

"I am thrilled to come home after nine years of consistently moving west in the casino business. The upcoming opening of Resorts new Rendezvous hotel tower and the many exciting new endeavors Resorts is embarking on present a very unique opportunity for me and the property," said Lefever.

Prior to joining the Resorts team Lefever held positions of increasing responsibility, most recently with Trump 29 Casino, a Native American Casino located in Coachella, California, where he held the position of General Manager. Lefever also served as Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer with Wynn Resorts and The Desert Inn Resort & Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada and Chief Financial Officer for the Sheraton Casino in Tunica County, Mississippi. Prior to joining Sheraton, Lefever was with Arthur Andersen, LLC in Roseland, New Jersey, where he was a member of the firm's gaming and hospitality team.

A graduate of Villanova University in Villanova, Pennsylvania, Lefever holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting. A native of Ocean City, New Jersey, and a graduate of Ocean City High School, Lefever and his wife Donna have returned to Ocean City to live.
