Michael Cicutto Appointed Director of Conference Services
for The Georgian Terrace Hotel, Atlanta

THE WOODLANDS (HOUSTON), TEXAS, May 2004 ... Benchmark Hospitality has appointed Michael Cicutto as director of conference services for The Georgian Terrace Hotel, a landmark property featuring 319 suites, which is located in the heart of Atlanta's burgeoning Midtown district.  Roy Young, managing director, made the announcement.
 
Mr. Cicutto brings extensive experience in conference center management to his new position at The Georgian Terrace Hotel.  Most recently he served as resident manager at the Ocean Place Conference Resort, located in Long Branch, New Jersey.  

Prior to this, Cicutto was employed for several years by International Conference Resorts, a hotel and conference center management company purchased by Benchmark Hospitality in 2001.  He served in leadership positions at Graylyn 


Michael Cicutto
International Conference Center in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, including manager of conference services, resident manager and then assistant general manager.  He began his hospitality career at Cheyenne Mountain Resort in Colorado Springs, Colorado.

Mr. Cicutto is a graduate of the University of Colorado with a degree in Business Administration.  He remains a member of the Board of Directors for the Greater Long Branch (New Jersey) Chamber of Commerce, serving a 10-year term.  He and his wife and family reside in Atlanta.

Built in 1911 at the corner of Peachtree Street and Ponce de Leon Avenue in Midtown Atlanta, The Georgian Terrace Hotel (www.thegeorgianterrace.com) is one of the city's most distinguished hotels, and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.  The property features 319 suites, a state-of-the-art conference center, stunning rooftop pool, health club, and two restaurants. The Georgian Terrace Hotel is managed by Benchmark Hospitality.
