Kurland also served as President and Managing Director of The El San Juan Hotel and Casino for six years as well as Managing Director of the then five-star Grand Bay Hotel in Coconut Grove for five years.

Kurland will be joined by Deborah Yager Fleming for the Rosewood resort, as well as the private residences and spa.
