service properties; If you’ve got access to the Internet, you’ve got a property management system ROCKVILLE, MD (USA) – June 14, 2004 – Visual One Systems Corporation, a supplier of management software to the hospitality industry since 1977, will be demonstrating a new property management system, called V1Net, at HITEC in Dallas, Texas, June 22-24, Exhibit #1310, at the Dallas Convention Center. V1Net operates within a standard Internet browser and is designed for hotel chains and management companies that prefer to maintain all of their properties’ data on a central server. V1Net is perfect for individual hotels, too, that want a low-cost entry to obtain state-of-the-art-technology for their front office operations. Among V1Net’s features are front office, reservations, package plans, group management, guest history, housekeeping, travel agency commissions, interfaces to other systems, and more. "V1Net is the sixth, full, PMS system that we have developed in our 27 year history,” says David Burroughs, President of Visual One Systems. “It is a new-generation system based on the latest Microsoft ‘dot-net’ technology. V1Net addresses the operational needs of hotels of all sizes, and is an excellent solution for the IT centralization needs of multi-property operations." The V1Net hotel system offers the ultimate in flexibility both from an operations standpoint and a licensing standpoint: the software can be hosted by a web-hosting service or it can be operated “locally” on a standard, Microsoft SQL Server computer. And V1Net can be licensed three ways: 1) as a one-time purchase; 2) as a flat-fee, monthly rental; or 3) as a monthly rental based on the hotel’s occupancy levels.
All of V1’s software products use Microsoft’s SQL Server database. For more information, please visit www.visualonesystems.com or contact: in the US: Dan Wasser, VP Marketing, 301-926-2500 or dwasser@v1s.com
