 Thomas Haas Appointed Corporate Director of Food
and Beverage for Tiburon Hospitality Management

Carefree, AZ . . .May 31, 2004   . . Thomas Haas has been appointed to corporate director of food and beverage for Tiburon Hospitality Management and its three resort properties, according to Greg Champion, president of THM.

Haas brings more than 23 years of hospitality food and beverage experience to Tiburon Hospitality Management and will be responsible for all F&B operations, including restaurant concepts, personnel management and financial operations for all three Tiburon resorts.  He will also be the acting director of food and beverage for Carefree Resort & Villas.

Prior to joining THM, Haas was the vice president of food and beverage for Noble House Hotels & Resorts, overseeing NHH&R�s 12 properties throughout the United States.  Prior to joining NHH&R, Haas was the Operations Manager for the Fireman Hospitality Group, considered one of the largest restaurant groups in New York City.  He was also managing director for FHG�s $18 million dollar Red Eye Grill.  

A native of Germany, Haas came to the United States in 1984 after working in some of Europe�s top luxury hotels including The Brenner�s Park Hotel in Baden-Baden and the I�Hotel du Roc in Antibe, in the south of France.  His extensive experience also includes various food and beverage management positions at the famed Breakers Hotel in Palm Beach and the exclusive Peninsula Hotel in Beverly Hills.  

Haas graduated from the University of Villingen in Germany and from Cornell University in New York with degrees in hospitality management.  He�s fluent in English, German and French.  He can be reached at 480-595-3877 or at [email protected].
