Montego Bay, JAMAICA (June 9, 2004) - Sunset Beach Resort & Spa,
Jamaica's best value all-inclusive resort, announces significant resort
improvements. The expansion plan, coupled with a resort refurbishment at
its sister resort, Sunset at the Palms, will represent a USD $27 million
investment.
Facilities to be completed for Winter 2005 season:

A themed Water Park with two water slides, waterfalls, meandering river,
Jacuzzis, incorporating a unique fantasy mountain, fort and pirate ship
feature

Second wedding gazebo in new Water Park area

Entirely upgraded children's facility including a disco, stage for special
events and a new kid's swimming pool (kid's club is from ages 2-12)

Expanded and upgraded Banana Walk, the resort's signature buffet dining
venue

New Teen Entertainment Center

A new beach bar, grill and entertainment area will replace the existing
facilities

Upgraded Tennis Pavilion with viewing stands and additional function area

Public area renovations to the garden lobby including the bar and lounge,
expanded outdoor promenade area and completely refurbished lobby
Additionally, a new room block of guestrooms, all with full ocean view,
will be added on the east 'sun side' of the resort; an expansive swimming
pool will be a central feature with some select swim up guestrooms. This
is scheduled for completion for the winter 2006 season.
At the 85-room Sunset at the Palms,
guests will enjoy newly renovated guest rooms and upgraded facilities.
Soft, gauzy fabrics accented by jewel tones will give the resort a laid-back,
chic, Indonesian feel. Additional plans for the refurbishment campaign
will include the refurbishment and expansion of the existing dining room,
a new treetop level restaurant overlooking the royal palm preserve and
a new spa treatment facility. Upgrades to include public areas, centralized
music system, satellite television system, new beachfront restroom facilities, |
