HONOLULU, OAHU, HAWAII - June 9, 2004 - Philippe
Sizaret has been named General Manager of the Te Tiare Beach, an Outrigger
Resort on Huahine Island in French Polynesia announced Barry Wallace, Senior
Vice President of Operations of Outrigger of Hotels & Resorts.
Sizaret is a veteran hotelier of the area, most recently serving as general manager of the Maitai Polynesia in Bora Bora. For the last 20 years, he has held various management positions throughout Tahiti, Moorea, Bora Bora, Thailand, Malaysia and New Caledonia. The Te Tiare Beach Resort is an exclusive luxury resort with 41 overwater and beachfront accommodations, restaurant, extensive services, amenities and activities. The island of Huahine is located between Tahiti and Bora Bora. Outrigger Hotels recently received the contract to manage the property and officially assumes operations July 1. Sizaret was born and educated in France. He speaks French, English and German. "We are very fortunate to have found someone so perfectly qualified to run the Te Tiare Beach Resort," said Wallace. "His knowledge of the industry, the area and the local people are all great assets that we know will make him very successful in this position."
