PRpro Tapped By Multi-Systems Inc. To
Pump Up Marketing, Sales Effort
Leading property-management system provider soon to premier Web-based enterprise and centralized corporate services for hospitality; Former hospitality trade magazine editor with more than 20 years of hotel operations and media-relations experience heads PR practice

Phoenix June 1, 2004 Multi-Systems Inc. (MSI), the leader in property-management and integrated operations/marketing technologies for the lodging industry, has retained Barbara A. Worcester, dba PRpro, a hospitality-specific public relations agent based in Cleveland, to manage its expanding marketing-communications and public relations efforts beginning today.

Since MSIs inception in 1990, our revenues and our reputation have grown every year, said Rick Munson, MSI President and C.E.O. To accompany this growthand to ensure that it continueswere investing in a public-relations partner that can get our story out to the top editors in the business. Our research tells us that no one does this like PRpro, and were excited to have our long-time industry friend, Barb Worcester, working on our behalf.

Worcester founded PRpro in February 2001, after serving as Senior Editor/Technology Editor for Hotel & Motel Management magazine for more than 10 years. Along with her coveted contacts throughout the various hotel chains, management companies and hospitality media, Worcester developed an innate understanding of hotel technology, enabling her to explain in laymens terms the value MSI solutions and services bring to hoteliers across all industry segments.

In addition, Worcester adds a hands-on understanding of hotel operations to her PR practice, after working in various public relations, marketing and operations positions at Cleveland area hotels since 1983, when she graduated from Ohio University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Journalism, major in Public Relations.

The key to successful public relations is found in the relations hip, Worcester said. In 1990, as I was being introduced to the world of hotel technology as a trade magazine editor, MSI was being launched as the PMS solution of choice for hoteliers. Rick Munson extended to me a personal invitation to visit MSI headquarters to get a first-hand look at its WinPM system and peripheral solutions, and to give me a tutorial on the various property-management technologies in the market. Our business relationship and friendship has continued to grow over the past 14 years, and so has the companys commitment to providing hoteliers with the tools they need to better manage their properties.

Im thrilled to be in partnership with such a dedicated technology leader that strives each day to provide solutions that single properties and sizable enterprises need to succeed amidst todays challenging economy, she said.

Building partnerships that last

Worcester will be working hand-in-hand with Bridget Oliva, MSIs newly appointed Vice President of Sales & Marketing, opening doors to new hotel customers, business partnerships and media opportunities. Out of the gate, PRpro will assist in the creation and launch of a winning ad campaign this month designed to rev up revenues and drive business to the property and enterprise levels through its WinPM (property-management) and WinSAM (sales-and-catering) solutions. In addition, she will assist MSI in unveiling a new Web-based enterprise PMS and launching a series of centralized corporate services at the Hotel Industry Technology Exposition & Conference (HITEC) in Dallas in June.

PRpro came highly recommended to me from its existing customers, the various magazine editors and publishers and even hotel brand presidents, Oliva said. The combination of PRpros hotel-industry expertise, extensive contacts, PR know-how and affordable fees convinced us that its the PR practice best-suited to help us tell our story.  Im looking forward to building a long-term relationship with Barb as the executive team here at MSI has so fondly done in the past.

A press conference will be held at HITEC 2004 announcing MSIs latest solutions and services. For more information, contact PRpro at 440-930-5770.
