OAKLAND, CA (June 2, 2004) � Dallas-based La Quinta Corporation (NYSE: LQI) announced that the former Hampton Inn adjacent to the Oakland Coliseum/Arena near Oakland Airport has become a La Quinta Inn. The property is the fourth La Quinta flag to fly in the Bay area, joining the La Quinta Inn & Suites San Francisco Downtown, which opened late in 2003, the La Quinta Inn San Francisco Airport, and the La Quinta Inn & Suites Hayward-Oakland Airport. La Quinta now offers travelers close to 600 rooms in the Bay area.
