The $11.5 million hotel, located on the former site of Spa Steel at 11 Excelsior Avenue in Saratoga Springs, NY was developed by  Eric King and BBL Construction.

Surfaced with the traditional brick of the Victorian Saratoga cityscape, the hotel welcomes guests with a large lobby and Courtyard Cafe restaurant and lobby lounge, 3,000 sq. ft. of meeting/function space with street level access and a nicely balanced inventory of 146 guestrooms. suites facing Excelsior Avenue -- two 1-bedroom and one 2-bedroom -- with microwaves, refrigerators and wet bars. Double-doors overlook the landscaped street promenade. In addition, a King-suite punctuates each of the six guestroom floors.

The hotel was designed with sophisticated racing season guests in mind, as well as Capital District business travelers and families. All guestrooms incorporate two 2-line telephones with dataport, separate CAT-5 high speed Internet access, coffeemaker, sitting area with 27-inch, remote-controlled color television with on-demand movies, iron and ironing board, clock radio, and hair dryer. The hotel also offers guests an indoor pool, Jacuzzi and exercise facilities, business library, 24-hour Market and guest laundry facilities.

The Saratoga Springs Courtyard by Marriott is located on the north side of Saratoga, half a mile from I-87’s Exit 15, with excellent access to the Saratoga Race Course, The Saratoga Performing Arts Center, Saratoga National Historic Park and other area visitor attractions. The hotel is within walking distance of the Saratoga Springs City Center and the historic downtown.

Saratoga Springs is a member of the National Trust for Historic Preservation's Main Street program, dedicated to the revitalization of classic American hometowns and city centers, and was named one of the Trust's “Distinctive Destinations.” In addition to the Victorian grandstand still in use at the Saratoga Race Course, and featured in the movie ”Seabiscuit,” the town includes 900 buildings listed in the National Register of Historic Places.  Visitors to Saratoga Springs in July enjoy a full range of arts events and summer festivities, even before the 136th racing season starts on July 28th. The Lake George Opera at Saratoga season starts July 3rd and the New York City Ballet opens its summer residency at the Saratoga Performing Arts Center on July 6th. The Saratoga County Fair runs July 13th through 18th.
