THE WOODLANDS, (HOUSTON,) TEXAS, June 2004 - Benchmark Hospitality
of The Woodlands (Houston), Texas, has appointed Chris Goblirsch director
of information technology for the international hospitality management
company. Goblirsch will be based at the company's Home Office in
The Woodlands. Rodney Thiel, Vice President, Information Technology,
made the announcement.
| In his new role with Benchmark, Chris
Goblirsch will be responsible for providing Wide Area Network support,
managing the day-to-day operation of Information Technology for the company,
while also providing support to Benchmark's properties throughout the United
States, Canada and Japan.
Goblirsch was previously system support manager at Scottsdale Resort
& Conference Center, Benchmark's newly renovated property located in
Scottsdale, |

Arizona. A seasoned professional, Goblirsch brings nearly 15 years
of IT expertise to his new role.
Previously, Goblirsch was a consultant for Tek Systems of Phoenix, Arizona,
servicing Bank of America, the Credit Card Group, and providing IT support.
Before this, he was employed by Sylvan Prometric and served in several
positions of increasing responsibility, including lead operations support
technician, installation and integration technician, and customer service
representative.
Chris Goblirsch served in the United States Military during the 1980s
and 1990s, He is a veteran of Operation Desert Storm. Goblirsch resides
in The Woodlands with his family.
