Phoenix - June 15, 2004 - Blue Square Studios, a provider
of Web-based business solutions for the hospitality industry, announced
today that it has been selected as the technology partner of choice for
Hilton Hotels Corporation's food and beverage operations. Blue Square Studios'
role encapsulates the development of all online
resources and training initiatives for the Food and Beverage group, including the "Flavors of Hilton" extranet, used by all owned and managed Food & Beverage operations within the Hilton family of brands The development includes restaurant and catering resources, culinary series training - with an extensive recipes area, ePresentations for catering proposals, wine education and standards, staff development and certification, direct ordering capabilities and more. This extranet also incorporates a new Web-based technology that enables users to create and edit print-ready, four-color collateral. A press-ready PDF is generated within the extranet environment for user approval. A custom-interfaced order form enables the user to complete the print request directly with O'Neil Printing, Hilton's print partner, who in turn, ships the printed collateral within 24 hours. "We are thrilled to take on the role of technology partner on behalf of Hilton's food & beverage division. Their enviable leadership in the industry is evidenced by their commitment to technology," said Shane Ettestad, president of Blue Square Studios. "We are further pleased that the structure of the relationship enables us to act as an extension of their in-house team, and we look forward to working with Hilton's creative and print partners, Patrick Henry Creative Promotions and O'Neil Printing, to deliver smart solutions for the entire team." "I am confident with our selection of Blue Square Studios. They are very much a part of the Hilton F&B team and are involved in all initiatives so that they can properly translate them to the Flavors of Hilton extranet. Further, they are an integral part of the solution that gives us the edge over our competition," said Paul Keeler, Vice President of Food and Beverage for Hilton Hotels Corporation. We look forward to continuing our collaboration with more ground-breaking technology." About
