Scottsdale Plaza Resort Realizes
ROI with InfoGenesis

Santa Barbara, CA - April 9, 2004 - Arizona's Scottsdale Plaza Resort has installed Revelation point-of-sale (POS) solution and Rendezvous enterprise restaurant reservations solution, both by InfoGenesis, to manage all food and beverage transactions, and reservations throughout the property.

The Scottsdale Plaza Resort management looked to replace their previous POS system with a solution that could not only streamline transactions, but also help increase revenue while cutting costs and improving guest satisfaction and service. Additionally, the Plaza wanted to use technology to increase business performance and product management.

The combined installation of Revelation and Rendezvous—both using state-of-the-art, Microsoft-based open system technology running on IBM SurePOS 500 touch screen terminals—gives the Plaza the ability to roll out new customer service programs to enhance guest satisfaction. Revelation's Hot Keys provide guests detailed driving instructions, while the Plaza's loyalty cards reward frequent guests.

Resort management also installed the InfoGenesis Handheld Wireless Solution at poolside. The solution provides speedy service, increased security, and instant menu information. The Plaza has realized immediate benefits including reduced training times, increased efficiency, and improved guest convenience and satisfaction, as well as increased revenue.
