TORONTO - April 12, 2004 - Renaissance Hotels and Resorts, a full-service division of Marriott International, Inc. (NYSE:MAR), announced today the opening of the new Renaissance Toronto Airport Hotel.  Located at 801 Dixon Road in Toronto, the Renaissance Toronto Airport Hotel boasts 249 elegant rooms, six suites, and one club floor and lounge.  The hotel is owned by Vancouver-based Larco Hospitality.

lobby designed with water gardens, Muskoka landscapes, fireplace, and stone flooring,� said Jeff Waters, general manager of the Renaissance Toronto Airport Hotel. �With 18 meeting rooms and a total of 26,000 sq. ft. of function space, all centrally located on the main floor with divisible ballrooms, the Renaissance can accommodate any social gathering or business function from eight to 800 people.� Meeting spaces and ballrooms range from 490 to 7,000 sq. ft.  Overlooking an 18-hole golf course, The Renaissance Toronto Airport Hotel also has a glass-domed indoor swimming pool, and fitness centre. 

Renowned chef, James Piggott, has led the design team in creating the hotel�s restaurant, Olio: A Mediterranean Grille. Executive Chef Piggot and his team will also be responsible for creating superior dining experiences for groups of 10 to 700 guests. Guests can enjoy tempting and exotic dishes like braised osso bucco with candied citrus, and grilled lamb and pork kebobs.
