Langham Hotels Rebranding Campaign, "The Rebirth of a Legend" Receives the 2004 PATA Gold Award for Marketing
Hong Kong - 19 April 2004  -----  Langham Hotels International (LHI) has won the prestigious 2004 PATA Gold Award for Marketing in the hotel category for its "The Rebirth of a Legend" campaign. 

The PATA Gold Awards, organized by Pacific Asia Travel Association (www.pata.org), recognise exceptional achievement in a variety of endeavours, bringing acclaim to the best the region's travel industry has to offer.   LHI's award-winning campaign, "The Rebirth of a Legend" has been recognized for setting industry standards for excellence and innovation.

LHI was competing among other major hotels and groups in Asia Pacific region as the best hotel group in its class to win the 2004 PATA Gold Award for Marketing in the hotel category. 

LHI's winning campaign, "The Rebirth of a Legend", was selected from over 332 Gold Award entries by a distinguished panel of international industry experts.  LHI stands  with other outstanding industry winners such as Hong Kong Tourism Board (Government/Destination - State/City Category), Singapore Airlines (International Air Carrier Category) and Master Card, Australia (Credit Card Company Category).

Kevin Murphy, Vice President of Marketing & Development, LHI was presented the Gold Award trophy at the 53rd PATA Annual Conference today held in Jeju Island, Korea.
