| BEVERLY HILLS, Calif., April 12, 2004 � Eric Walters has been named
general manager of the 353-room Doubletree® Hotel Bellevue, located
in the economic and cultural hub of Greater Seattle�s Eastside.
He most recently served as hotel manager at the Hilton Seattle Airport
& Conference Center, a position he has held since 2000.
With nearly two decades of hotel experience and eight years of service with the Hilton Family of Hotels, Walters has been able to manage departments and hotels that simultaneously achieve outstanding guest service while performing well financially. He has held key hotel operations positions at Doubletree hotels in Washington state and Colorado. During Walters� most recent tenure at the Hilton Seattle Airport and Conference Center, he successfully managed the hotel team through an extensive, multi-year $56 million expansion and renovation project. Under his leadership, the hotel was recently recognized as a three-time award winner at Hilton Hotels & Resorts 2003 hotel performance awards program. The Hilton Seattle Airport & Conference Center received a Connie Award (named in honor of company founder Conrad Hilton) for best overall hotel performance, a Continuous Improvement Award for its efforts toward improving overall hotel performance and a Hilton HHonors? Guest Recognition Award for exemplary service to members of the brand�s highly acclaimed guest recognition and reward program. A Pacific Northwest native, Walters holds a Bachelor�s Degree from Oregon State University in Food Systems Management.
