Douglas Wojick Named Director of Sales for
The Mansion on Forsyth Park and Historic
Kehoe House, Savannah, Georgia

Savannah, GA � (April 12, 2004) � The Kessler Collection is pleased to announce Douglas Wojick as Director of Sales for The Mansion on Forsyth Park and historic Kehoe House.  His responsibilities in this capacity will include overseeing all aspects of room sales from all key business segments for both properties.  The Kehoe House is currently open, however The Mansion on Forsyth Park is slated to open February 2005.

Mr. Wojick brings over 10 years of sales experience to his new role.   Prior to this position, Douglas was the director of sales and marketing for Treetops Resort and

director of Midwest corporate and incentive sales for The Ritz Carlton, Palm Beach.  Douglas also held the position of director of sales for the Hilton Head Island Chamber of Commerce, as well as director of sales and marketing for Savannah DeSoto Hilton and director of sales and marketing for Radisson Resort in Hilton Head Island.  In addition to his professional experience, Douglas received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business and Hotel/Restaurant Management from Iowa State University.

The Kehoe House, located across from Columbia Square, is a 15,000 square-foot mansion originally built in 1892 and is constructed of red brick, terra cotta moldings and iron.  Eighteen fireplaces appoint the interior, with high ceilings, intricate moldings, and hardwood, pine floors throughout the property.  It also has a modern elevator servicing all floors, a double parlor, music room, formal dinning room, unique artwork, antique mirrors, wireless high-speed Internet access, Grand Bohemian Gallery and a top floor 2,000 square-foot meeting room.  An intimate side garden and a private garden courtyard highlight the beautifully landscaped grounds. 

Scheduled to open February 2005, the chic and luxurious Mansion on Forsyth Park will be a 126 room hotel with 11 suites.  The original, historic, 18,000-square-foot Mansion will be restored for the 700 Drayton Restaurant and Lounge, culinary cooking school, and Grand Bohemian Art Gallery.  A conforming four-story building will be built for the hotel guestrooms, Poseidon Spa and Fitness Center, and 9,500-square-feet of meeting space.

The Kehoe House and the Mansion on Forsyth Park share the legendary name and refined standards of Richard C. Kessler�s hotel collection.  The Kessler Collection includes the AAA four-diamond Casa Monica Hotel in historic, St. Augustine, FL; the AAA four-diamond Westin Grand Bohemian in Orlando; the AAA four-diamond Celebration Hotel in Celebration; Hampton Inn Savannah North; Doubletree Castle Hotel in Orlando; Sheraton Studio City Hotel in Orlando; Red Horse Inn in Orlando; the Sheraton Safari Hotel� an affiliated property, in Orlando and the Kessler Canyon in Grand Junction.
