The Comfort Inn Executive Center is the first hotel to feature the new �Room in a Can� design concept for the Comfort Inn brand. The �Room In a Can� design concept is a new approach providing hotel owners with cost-efficient, integrated, turnkey solutions for furniture, fixture and equipment, operational supplies and procurement requirements.  Prior to construction, owners receive a paint can filled with fabric and finish samples giving franchisees a chance to touch and feel the materials.  Franchisees also receive a

manual, which includes a how-to process guide offering detailed steps for completing rooms for new build, renovation and conversion hotels.

The Comfort Inn Executive Center consists of three Colonial Southern Style brick buildings, each with two floors.  The first building has a business center with high-speed internet access and meeting facilities for up to 40 people.  The second building has guest laundry and non-smoking double rooms and the third building consists of a spacious outdoor pool adjacent to an exercise room with a six-person Jacuzzi.

Owned and operated by Charles Burton Reid, LLC, the Comfort Inn hotel recently underwent a $900,000 renovation.  All guest rooms were renovated, the breakfast/meeting area was expanded to 400 square feet and a new business center with three computer work stations and high-speed internet access was installed.

Guest rooms at the Comfort Inn Executive Center feature rooms with one king or two double beds.  Each room has new Thomasville furniture, carpet, drapes, bedspreads and bathrooms with a new granite counter top, ceramic tile, Moen fixtures and re-glazed tubs.  Other room amenities include a clock radio, coffee maker, hair dryer, 27-inch color TV with 77 stations including HBO and ESPN, Sealy Posturepedic beds, writing desk with chairs, data port, lamps, activity tables and chairs.  King rooms also have an upholstered lounge chair with a matching ottoman.  There is one two-room suite with a full-size kitchen.  Business class rooms have a micro-fridge.  Some king rooms also have whirlpool tubs.

The Comfort Inn Executive Center offers guests a free deluxe continental breakfast of assorted danish, donuts, muffins, bagels, english muffins, pancakes, oatmeal, french toast, fresh fruit, assorted cereals, juices, milk, coffee, tea and hot chocolate. 

The Comfort Inn Executive Center is near historic downtown Richmond and many Civil War Monuments and historic sites.
