Ritz-Carlton South Beach Selects Titan Of New York for
Asset Management and Sales & Marketing Support

MIAMI, Fla. – FEBRUARY 27, 2004 - Titan of New York, LLC announced that its consulting and asset management firm has been retained to support the new Ritz-Carlton South Beach in Miami Beach, which opened on December 31, 2003.

Titan founder D.C. Becker will be responsible for providing consulting services for sales, marketing, and strategic planning for the $200 million development located on the ocean in the heart of South Beach’s Art Deco district.

Becker described the new resort as South Beach’s “finest, most luxurious, and most exciting” property, and stated that Titan of New York’s wealth of experience working with luxury hotels and resorts will enable the firm to play a major support role to ownership and management.  “Our

experience consulting on luxury hotel & resort projects in the Caribbean and elsewhere in Florida makes us well-suited to the new Ritz-Carlton South Beach, and we are confident that we can provide valuable expertise as the resort becomes established,” Becker noted.   Developers Diego Lowenstein and Paul Kanavos echoed Becker’s comments: “Titan has already proven to be a significant asset in the development of our project, and their ‘creative-yet-realistic’ approach has already provided measurable results for the resort,” Lowenstein stated.

Situated on South Beach’s premier site, at the intersection of Collins Avenue and The Lincoln Road pedestrian shopping district, The Ritz-Carlton South Beach features 376 guest rooms; three restaurants; a magnificent $2 million original art collection; a 13,000 square foot luxury spa; and over 20,000 square feet of dedicated meeting and function space.

The Ritz-Carlton South Beach is a joint development of Miami-based Lionstone Hotels & Resorts and Flag Luxury Properties, located in Manhattan.  Developers Lowenstein and Kanavos went on to say, “we are thrilled to have opened this magnificent property, and excited to have the highly-experienced support of Titan to ensure our overall success.”

In addition to asset management, sales and marketing and consulting services, Titan of New York also provides expertise in market feasibility, competitive analysis, and general management services.
