Laura Neumann to Manage

THE WOODLANDS, TEXAS,
March 5, 2004 — Benchmark Hospitality has
announced the appointment of
Laura A. Neumann to the position of Vice President and General Manager
for Cheyenne Mountain Resort, a 316-guestroom property located in
Colorado Springs, Colorado. 
Tom
O'Shea, Senior Vice President for Benchmark Hospitality, made the
announcement, saying, "Laura has been an exemplary Vice President for
the past three years and was instrumental in Benchmark's strategic
growth. Her unique and diversified background, as well as her
superb leadership skills and vision, make her the ideal candidate for
this new appointment."
An accomplished hotelier, Laura Neumann brings nearly two decades of professional hospitality management experience to her new position at Cheyenne Mountain Resort. She has been an integral part of the Benchmark management team and the company's development since 1987, when she joined the organization. In her previous position as Vice President, Neumann was responsible for overseeing and providing strategic direction for a group of Benchmark properties, including The Georgian Terrace Hotel, located in Atlanta, Georgia; The Northland Inn of Minneapolis, Minnesota; The Chattanoogan, Chattanooga, Tennessee; The Kingbridge Centre of Toronto, Canada; and The Council House - an exclusive international conference center for SC Johnson, A Family Company, Wingspread - a private conference center for the Johnson Foundation, and The Wingspread Guest House, each located in Racine, Wisconsin.
