Kimberly Agas Takes on Dual Role
as Vice President-Operations, Waikiki Beachfront Division, and
General Manager, Outrigger Reef on the Beach

HONOLULU - March 10, 2004 - Barry Wallace, vice president of operations for Outrigger Hotels & Resorts, is pleased to announce the promotion of Kimberly Agas to the newly created position of Vice President-Operations, Waikiki Beachfront Division. In addition, she is moving from the Outrigger Waikiki to assume the duties of general manager of the Outrigger Reef on the Beach, replacing Geoff Graf, who has left Outrigger to join Fairfield Resorts, the world's largest timeshare company that last year signed a long-term, comprehensive alliance with Outrigger for the marketing, management, and development of timeshare properties in Hawaii and the Pacific. A new general manager for the Outrigger Waikiki will be announced at a later date.

"Kimberly's strong leadership qualities, synergy with fellow employees and successful track record made her a shoe-in for the job," Wallace said. "This past year was probably her biggest challenge, as the Outrigger Waikiki underwent an extensive renovation; but with a clear vision and established goals, Kimberly and her team exceeded expectations on all counts."

Wallace continued by saying, "We look forward to Kimberly bringing that same drive and commitment to her new position overseeing the beachfront properties as the company moves forward in the repositioning of these two premier resorts as contemporary, upscale Hawaiian resorts offering the best is island accommodations and a truly authentic island experience to each and every guest who walks through their doors."

Agas is a proven hospitality professional with a strong work ethic and well-honed leadership skills. She joined the company in 1984 while attending college and has worked at eight different properties throughout her years with Outrigger. Prior to her tenure at the Outrigger Waikiki, she was hotel manager for the OHANA Village and OHANA Coral Seas hotels. Before that, she was assistant hotel manager of the OHANA Village, OHANA Reef Lanais, OHANA Coral Seas and OHANA Reef Towers. She also worked as a relief manager at the OHANA Edgewater and OHANA Waikiki Tower hotels.

Agas is a graduate of The Kamehameha Schools in Honolulu. After high school, she completed a two-year program in Liberal Arts at Leeward Community College. She subsequently transferred to the University of Hawaii at Manoa to study Economics but left two years later to join Outrigger on a full-time basis. Since joining the company, Agas has become a Certified Rooms Division Executive through the American Hotel & Motel Association. She is active within the company and community having been a long time member of Outrigger's Political Action Committee as well as through her involvement in the annual Aloha Festival's Waikiki Hoolaulea and the Honolulu Zoological Society since 2002. Agas' involvement and dedication have resulted in her being awarded the company's prestigious President's Award six times.
