The Puerto Vallarta Tourism Trust
|PUERTO VALLARTA, Jalisco, Mexico (March 24,
2004) The Puerto Vallarta Tourism Trust welcomes veteran travel
and hospitality executive Alfredo Rosas as Director of the Tourism Trust.
March 15, 2004 marked Rosas' first day of service.
Boasting 26 years of service in the travel, hospitality, and tourism industries, Alfredo Rosas offers proven leadership in hotel management and operations throughout Mexico and the Caribbean.
Alfredo Rosas' vast experience has positively impacted travel markets spanning from Los Cabos to Mazatlan. While serving as the President of the Hotel Association Marketing Committee for Los Cabos, Rosas championed the implementation of a multi-million dollar marketing campaign while managing all major events and airlift decisions for the area.
While Corporate Director of Sales and Marketing for Pueblo Bonito Hotels & Resorts, Rosas supervised five properties within Cabo San Lucas and Mazatlan and was instrumental in running all media plans, reservations technologies, and wholesale cooperative programs for each property.
Rosas has now moved to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico to embark on an intense mission to raise product awareness among the consumer markets, creatively brand the destination's product to wholesalers and the general marketplace, and to oversee an integrated advertising and public relations plan designed to re-introduce the "Puerto Vallarta brand."
"Puerto Vallarta is one of the most authentic Mexican destinations a traveler will experience. It combines this quality with all of the luxuries and amenities of a high-tech, advanced society, and that is why this destination is so appealing", said Rosas. "I aim to establish new relationships and build upon existing ones with the principal US and Mexico wholesalers as well as the various airline carriers in order to shift Puerto Vallarta into an even more competitive vacation landmark."
