High-Speed Internet Access
All-suite brand teams with EthoStream to provide state-of-the-art
HSIA network chainwidethus adding another highly sought amenity

MILWAUKEE, WIS. (FEBRUARY 6, 2004) Guests at Woodfield Suites hotels can now get on-line faster than ever.  The Milwaukee-based all-suite chain has rolled out EthoStream LLCs Wireless High Speed Internet Access (HSIA) system for use by guests at its seven hotels from Wisconsin to Texas.

This will give Woodfield Suites yet another unique amenitywireless high-speed Internet access in guestrooms, meeting rooms, lobbies and other public spaces.
We conducted a comprehensive study of leading high-speed Internet access providers and their various solutions, support systems and business models, said Joy Trent, vice president of operations for Woodfield Suites.  We had great success with EthoStreams wireless solution and decided on a full roll-out throughout all of our hotels.  Offering HSIA services to our guests will significantly increase their already high level of satisfaction.

There are seven Woodfield Suites locations, in Colorado, Illinois, Ohio, Texas and Wisconsin.  The one- and two-room suites have separate sleeping and living areas, and are equipped with refrigerators and microwaves.  Focusing on top-quality services, meeting rooms and a full array of amenitiessuch as complimentary breakfast and evening cocktails, a fitness center and swimming poolWoodfield Suites offers guests a relaxing, comfortable experience for business and leisure travelers alike.

Also based in Milwaukee, EthoStream is a leading provider of wireless HSIA to hospitality and other markets.  The company has nearly 50 hotel clients representing a dozen national brands.  EthoStream provides secure wireless HSIA via its proprietary EthoStream Gateway ServerTM (EGS-110), and gives hotels and management companies complimentary access to online, in-depth, real-time reports on bandwidth, usage and tech support call resolution.

Industry experts have said wireless high-speed Internet access is now the new must-have guestroom amenity, said Trent.  Our transition to HSIA is now a reality.  Offering free HSIA in all guestrooms at all Woodfield Suites will be a major competitive differentiator in the mid-market segment.

EthoStream President Jason L. Tienor said the Marcus Corp. pilot project, using the companys wireless HSIA, drew guests and kept them returning over the past few months.

Management reports from other installations that have deployed our EthoStream wireless High Speed Internet Access product show double-digit usage rates that continue to rise, Tienor said. We strongly believe that our solutions for wireless HSIA technology will be the standard for which all others will be judged.
