to Manage Relationship and Channel Education |
WASHINGTON, D.C. February 2, 2004 Thayer
Interactive Group (TIG), a leading hospitality online marketing firm, announced
today that it is seeking senior hospitality executives to lead and manage
its client revenue-enhancement initiatives, Internet channel education,
and overall service and sales development.
TIG has grown significantly during the past three years as a result of proven revenue impact, leading to preferred-provider designations with several major hotel brands, management companies, and ownership groups, said Frederic W. Malek, TIG chief executive officer. With the Internet fast becoming the largest revenue segment, there is a tremendous need to educate our client base to ensure effective online strategy and optimized revenue production. By hiring senior executives to work proactively with senior property and corporate staff, our clients will be in the most favorable position to capitalize on this tremendous growth opportunity. This investment will allow TIG to reach out to transient, leisure, meeting, and social groups with even greater success, in order to provide our clients with dramatically increased revenue at the lowest distribution costs. The Internet continues to expand as a source of
revenue for the hospitality industry. In 2004, 16 percent of
all revenue in the hospitality industry will be generated directly from
online room sales, up from 12 percent in 2003. Industry research
firms estimate that a full 25 percent of all hotel bookings will originate
from the Internet within the next three years.
Open positions at TIGs senior-management level include: (1) relationship managers, to focus on new development and client revenue enhancement initiatives, (2) regional operations managers, to build and foster existing client relationships, and (3) brand corporate managers, to manage relationships with corporate-level staff within particular hotel-brand and management organizations. Candidates must have significant hospitality experience and proven success at the director of sales, general manager and/or regional level. Resumes should be directed to [email protected] with the subject heading TIG Client Relationship Development. Our account-service team works closely with a
hotels marketing staff, to maximize every opportunity to reach out to
Internet customers within the propertys local and regional market, Malek
said. In addition to delivering the highest ROIs in the industry,
we act as educators in the online marketing process, to ensure growth and
development as partners in our clients success.
