Fred Julius brings over 20 years of hospitality management experience to his new
position at The Northland Inn.  Previously, Mr. Julius was general manager of hospitality for the exclusive Bald Head Island Resort, located on Bald Head Island, which is at the mouth of the Cape Fear River across from Southport, North Carolina.  

Prior to this, he was director of operations at Founders Inn, a Benchmark property located in Virginia Beach, Virginia.  He also served as general manager of The Council House and Wingspread, both Benchmark Hospitality properties located in Racine, Wisconsin. 

Mr. Julius was previously director of operations at Casperkill Country Club, a Benchmark country club located in Poughkeepsie, New York.  Before this, he was club manager at Heritage Country Club, located in Johnson City, New York.

Fred Julius began his hospitality career in food & beverage, serving as executive chef and subsequently senior food & beverage director at the Palisades Executive Conference Center located in Palisades, New York.   Mr. Julius is a graduate of Johnson & Wales University located in Providence, Rhode Island.
