Chubb, a Division of UTC Appoints Robert M. Aquilino
to Second Stint as Onity President
Aquilinos direction spurred Onity to global leadership in electronic security and energy management solutions for hospitality and commercial applications

ATLANTA FEB. 6, 2004 Robert M. Aquilino, who as president spearheaded the global growth of Onity from 1997 until 2001, is returning as Onitys president. He was named to the position by Chubb, a division of United Technologies (UTC), Onitys Hartford, CT-based parent company, and assumes his leadership role at Onity in early February.

Atlanta-based Onity is the leading global provider of electronic security and energy-management solutions for the hospitality industry and other commercial markets. Under Aquilinos leadership from 1997 to 2001, Onity, then known as Tesa Entry Systems, was repositioned as an international, business-to-business, solutions and service company, and its distribution expanded from 23 to more than 115 countries.

For the past two years, Aquilino has served as President and C.E.O. of Innotek Inc. that, after its consolidation with Invisible Fence Inc., became the leading supplier of pet containment and training products in the United States. Aquilinos background includes 16 years with PepsiCo in both U.S. and international executive positions with that companys Pepsi Cola and Frito Lay divisions. As Vice President of Business Development for Frito Lay, Aquilino oversaw development of the divisions global export strategy in second-tier markets. At Pepsi Cola, Aquilino led various business units and was General Manager of the Fountain and Vending Division for Southern Europe, headquartered in Rome, Italy.
We welcome Bob as a returning President to Onity and wish him continued success in re-establishing the high-performance culture that led Onity to its leadership position in the electronic security and energy-management business, said Olivier Robert, President of Chubb, a UTC company, in announcing Aquilinos appointment.

Aquilino, an Atlanta resident, is a graduate of Pennsylvania State University. He has served his community with service on the boards of charities including the Council on Drug and Alcohol Abuse, Sting Out Drugs, Stop SIDS and, while in Rome, the USO. Aquilino is active in other community and professional organizations, including the Young Presidents Foundation and the Society of International Business Fellows.
