Assumes Regional Area Director Position for the Western United States, Dolce International |
Montvale, New Jersey � USA (September, 2003) � Dolce International
announces that Ken Daugherty, general manager of Dolce Skamania Lodge,
is assuming additional responsibilities as regional area director for the
Western United States. In his expanded position, Daugherty will oversee
Aspen Meadows in Aspen, Colorado; Zermatt, the resort under development
in Salt Lake City; and expansion activities in the Western United States.
�Ken�s extensive knowledge of the hotel and hospitality industry as well as the seven years he�s spent with Dolce International, make him an outstanding choice for regional area director,� said Mark DePiero, senior vice president, operations, the Americas, for Dolce International. Daugherty joined the company in 1996 as assistant general manager of
Dolce Skamania Lodge and was promoted to general manager in 1999.
Skamania Lodge, located in the beautiful Columbia River Gorge, is a conference
resort offering 254 guest rooms, 24 conference rooms in 22,000 square feet
of meeting space, an 18-hole golf course, restaurant, fitness center and
spa.
Daugherty graduated from Linn Benton Community College where he studied culinary arts and restaurant management. He serves on the board for the Columbia River Gorge Interpretive Center and museum.
