Prime Hospitality Corp. Assumes Management of the Empire Hotel
in New York City, Previously Managed by Ian Schrager Hotels
Fairfield, N.J., October 23, 2003 -- Prime Hospitality Corp. (NYSE: PDQ), today announced that effective October 21, 2003, Prime has assumed management of the Empire Hotel in New York City.  The Property was previously managed by Ian Schrager Hotels and will continue to carry the Empire name. 
 
The 14 story Empire Hotel is located at 44 West 63rd Street overlooking Lincoln Center, at the convergence of Broadway and Columbus Avenue.  The hotel features 465 guest rooms with a significant retail component.  The landmark quality building exemplifies classic pre-war architecture with a brick and limestone facade, defining one of the city�s best luxury locations at the junction of prime commercial, residential, and leisure areas.
