Steven Boswell Appointed  Director of Sales and Marketing,

REDONDO BEACH, CA. � (December 18, 2003) � The Portofino Hotel & Yacht Club, the only oceanfront hotel in Redondo Beach, proudly announces the appointment of Steven Boswell, Director of Sales and Marketing.  In this role, Boswell will lead the development and implementation of all sales and marketing programs at the 163-room hotel in Redondo Beach, part of the Noble House Hotels and Resorts collection of properties.  

Boswell joins The Portofino from Loews Santa Monica Beach Hotel, where he most recently served as Director of Sales for the past three years.  Boswell has over 14 years of experience in sales, marketing and catering, holding various positions within ITT Sheraton.  Boswell has an A.S. in Culinary Arts from the Culinary Institute of America and has been a member of Meeting Professionals International for ten consecutive years.

The Portofino Hotel & Yacht Club features 163 guestrooms with sweeping views of the ocean and marina, a relaxing living room lobby, outdoor heated swimming pool and whirlpool, and a 24-hour fitness center. With two large ballrooms featuring floor-to-ceiling views of the Pacific Ocean, the hotel can accommodate up to 250 guests for dining and dancing and 300 for a cocktail reception.
