Hershey Resorts Proceeding with $2 million Guest
Room Renovation at Hotel Hershey

Project To Focus On 120 Rooms In Hotel�s Main Building; Highlights To Include Bedding, Linens, Draperies, Furniture, Paint, Chandelier And More; Set For Completion March 2004

HERSHEY, PA � August 15, 2003 � Hershey Resorts has announced a $2 million room renovation project for its famed Hotel Hershey.  The three-month project, set to begin in January, 2004, will focus on the 120 rooms of the Hotel�s Main Building.  Design for the project is by The W Group, of Nashville, Tennessee.

Each room at The Hotel Hershey room will now include a luxurious pillow top mattress, upgraded linens, custom draperies, blackout draperies and soft chairs with ottoman.  In addition, the rooms will feature new carpeting, lamps, tables and an additional cordless phone at the desk (to complement existing bedside and bathroom phones).  Rooms will feature newly painted dark mahogany doors and a combination of paint and wallpaper, separated by newly installed molding halfway up each wall.  Each room will include a new chandelier.  All queen-size beds will be converted to kings and all double/double rooms to queen/queens.  Each bed will feature a new headboard with dark rich bordering and a soft cream leather insert.
