Carl Erikson as Regional Director
of Opportunities
PHOENIX, ARIZONA (July 9, 2003) -- Strengthening its revenue improvement solutions for mid-market and limited service clients Aspire Marketing & Training -- the “outrageous but disciplined hospitality training and marketing company that helps hotels increase revenues” -- has added Carl J. Erikson CHA, CRDE, to its already impressive team.  Carl will be working out of “The Center,” Aspire’s headquarters in Phoenix. Among his missions, he will support clients who look to improve employee productivity and retention.

Most recently, Erikson was with Best Western Corporate Headquarters in Phoenix as District Manager of Member Relations, acting as the corporate liaison, a consultant, and advocate for nearly 400 hotels providing solutions to operational questions. During his 10 years with Best Western, Erikson handled on-site orientations and workshops through the Education and Training department, and developed the reservations department training and policy manuals.  In addition, Erikson has also worked for Red Lion, Holiday Inn, and Marriott hotels.

A native of Seattle, Erikson’s career in hospitality has progressed from front-line to restaurant operations to supervisory roles during the past 30 years.  The American Hotel and Motel Association has recognized him as a certified hotel administrator (CHA), an honor awarded to hospitality professionals whose leadership and managerial abilities are exemplary. He has also received the Certified Rooms Division Executive (CRDE) distinction, which recognizes providing quality service amid growing competition.
