| New Orleans (June 10,
2003) - A new version of Hotel Booking Solutions (HBS) channel management
console will be officially released at the HITEC Hospitality Technology
convention in New Orleans, June 24-26. HBS will be located in Booth
#111 on the showroom floor.
Some of the highlights of the new system include
a new layout which allows for faster, more intuitive navigation, overview
screens, which provide real-time snapshots of the current distribution
environment, and escalation and conditional availability features which
can be used manually, or allow a hotel’s revenue management system to have
greater control and flexibility over various rates.

looking for ways to make hobooBox™ easier to use and yet more powerful

of HBS. “Not only is the system improved, but by making changes to
the underlying ASP technology, and through our partnership with Sprint
Data Centers, we’ve been able to decrease load times making the system
run much more quickly for the user.”

Is hobooBox™ really a box?
No. hobooBox™ is actually an Application Service Provider, which offers
the complete channel management solution based in its data center. The
only software installed at the hotel’s PMS is the interface module (if
needed). No special or additional hardware is required. |

any of the booking engines with interfaces to hobooBox™.
This will allow a hotelier to create rate plans with rates and inventory
that can only be viewed by a specific tour operator that will be automatically
managed by hobooBox™.
Also being released at HITEC will be the hobooQuickConnect™
system for Property Management
Systems. This toolkit, like the popular hobooQuickConnect™
for distribution systems using Microsoft .Net and JAVA J2EE, will contain
ready to deploy tools and embedded XML translators which dramatically reduce
the amount of development time needed to interface to hobooBox™.
