   Sandals Adding 7th Resort in Jamaica, the 360
room Whitehouse Under Construction

WESTMORELAND, JAMAICA (June 16, 2003) - With an average year-round hotel occupancy rate of 85 percent across its six Sandals properties in Jamaica, the opening of Sandals Whitehouse in fall 2004 is sure to attract guests to the picturesque Southern Coast of Jamaica.

Located on the virtually untouched South Coast and 90 minutes from the Donald Sangster International Airport in Montego Bay, Sandals Whitehouse is set on 45 sprawling acres of wooded forest at Parker�s Bay, Westmoreland. The resort lies on a large, private white-sand beach with over half a kilometer for strolling and offering sweeping views of the Caribbean Sea surrounded by tropical greenery and landscaped courtyards. Visitors can look forward to a Southern Coast option that offers the reliability of Sandals� brand and value to the region. 

Sandals Whitehouse will offer 360 spacious rooms, including 54 luxurious suites. All rooms will offer oceanfront views and are equipped with king-size, four-poster mahogany beds and Jamaican artisan-crafted furnishings. The dressing and vanity area will be separated from the bedroom including marble counter tops, locally-styled pickled ceilings and a fully furnished balcony.  Guests booked in any of the Suite Categories will be able to enjoy Sandals exclusive Suite Concierge Service including full stocked in-room bars and 24-hour room service.

Sandals Whitehouse will offer six gourmet restaurants including Italian, Caribbean, Asian, Tex-Mex and an European Patisserie. The resort will also have seven full-service bars including two swim-up pool bars all serving unlimited premium brand drinks, beer, wine and soft drinks. Sandals Whitehouse will showcase three distinct �Villages� including the French Village, Italian Village and Dutch Village. Each of these room blocks is four-stories high and designed with the motif of the particular �Village� they represent.

Built on a nature reserve, Sandals Whitehouse will be a Green Globe certified resort joining Sandals Montego Bay and Sandals Negril Beach Resort & Spa. The resort site will be developed to retain much of the natural vegetation and use the most environmentally conscience practices.
